About

About me

I’m a dedicated freelance grant writer and researcher with a passion for making a meaningful impact. As a mother, dog lover, outdoor enthusiast, and insatiable curiosity, I combine my love for research and storytelling to help clients secure funding and build lasting partnerships. Outside of work, you’ll find me exploring the mountains, embarking on road trips, or enjoying time with my family and friends.

How it all started

Inspired by the environmental and social justice law students who lived with us and conservationist parents, my passion for social justice, equity, and ecological conservation began at a young age. A natural storyteller, I found expression through writing. Naturally skilled at persuasion, I initially found success in sales. However, I always felt a calling to use my talents for a greater purpose.

After years of advocacy, activism, and inspired by the vision of LBJ’s Great Society, I boldly decided to switch careers and dedicate my expertise to supporting non-profits and B-Corporations. I aim to help organizations secure funding to scale their services and create positive change. With a deep commitment to social good, I combine my background in sales, training in research and grantwriting to secure funding and scale their services.

Let’s work together to unlock funding opportunities and drive your mission forward.

My approach

My vision is to cultivate a more inclusive society by championing organizations dedicated to social and environmental justice and equity. I specialize in crafting meticulously researched and persuasive grant proposals and presentations. Through collaborative partnerships with clients, I deeply engage with their missions and objectives, while nurturing relationships with grantmakers. This dual understanding allows me to develop winning grant proposals and deliver comprehensive KPI reporting that vividly illustrates the impact of awarded funds.
